Hi there! I'm Leah. ​

The owner and photographer behind Leah Marie Photography. I grew up in the not-so-little-anymore town of Belle River, where I still live and raise my two incredible kids.

My love for photography started when I was a little girl. I would spend hours flipping through old family photo albums, completely captivated by the stories frozen in each image. There was something so special about being able to feel a moment just by looking at a photo, and that feeling is exactly what inspires me today.

Since starting Leah Marie Photography over eight years ago, I’ve had the honour of photographing more than 150 weddings as the lead photographer and capturing memories for hundreds of families, couples, and businesses across Windsor-Essex County and beyond.

While I’m proudly based in Windsor, I love to travel and have been lucky enough to explore some breathtaking places, from hiking through the mountains of Vancouver to the red-rock landscapes of Utah. I typically stay local for sessions, but for the right couple or story, I’m always open to packing my bags and going wherever love takes me.

When it comes to working with my clients, I bring a calm, organized, and efficient approach. Whether it’s a wedding day, a family lifestyle session, or a corporate branding shoot, I believe in keeping things relaxed and fun while making sure every detail is thoughtfully captured. My goal is simple: to tell your story in a natural, timeless, and meaningful way so you can look back and feel exactly how that moment felt.
